Neuropsychological examination

Sazyes offers the following (neuro)psychological assessments. These assessments can be requested as standalone assessments or in combination with, for example, a Psychiatric examination, neurological expertise, or insurance medical work capacity assessment.

A neuropsychological examination (NPO) is considered the gold standard for objectifying cognitive complaints. This may include, for example, concentration problems and memory complaints. The goal of neuropsychological research

As a rule, the goal of a neuropsychological examination is to determine whether there are limitations associated with a brain injury or brain disease. If this is the case, the consequences of this for daily life are examined.

    Cognitive functions are assessed using a 'neuropsychological examination'. Cognitive functions refer to all mental processes involved in absorbing and processing information. Please note: a neuropsychological examination cannot be conducted with an interpreter.
