A psychiatric examination is often requested in cases of absenteeism or disability. As a rule, a diagnostic opinion is requested. However, it is the limitations that have the most important consequences and in many cases this is explicitly requested.
Purpose of Psychiatric examniation in absenteeism and disability
It goal of a Psychiatric examination is generally used to determine whether there are limitations associated with a psychiatric disorder. Indications include a stagnating recovery, the substantiation of a claim assessment, the substantiation of a WIA file, wage sanction prevention or wage sanction repair.
