When we think of medical expert examinations, the focus is often on (insurance) doctors and other medical professionals. But behind these experts is an indispensable force: the medical secretariat. At Sazyes, this department fulfills an essential role as a connecting link between professionals, clients and applicants.

A neurological expertise from Sazyes provides clarity

From answering questions to scheduling appointments and sending reports: thanks to the medical secretariat, everything behind the scenes runs smoothly and in a structured manner. They are the point of contact for colleagues and clients and are therefore the calling card of Sazyes. Especially for clients who experience an expertise as exciting, it is nice to have someone on the line who knows what it is all about.

More room for personal attention

The work of the medical secretariat does not stop with the executive tasks. Within Sazyes, we are constantly looking at how processes can be smarter, faster and more customer-friendly. Consider investigating digital possibilities, such as AI solutions, to alleviate routine tasks. This creates more room for personal attention and quality.

Achieve goals and be able to really help people

Karlijn Wildhagen is trajectory coordinator at Sazyes and an important factor within the medical secretariat. She guides trajectories from beginning to end, monitors progress and jumps in where needed. "The best part of my job? Achieving goals and being able to really help people," Karlijn says. "Whether they are applicants, clients or colleagues from the secretariat: I want to make sure everyone knows where they stand. In busy periods I support the secretariat, and vice versa they can come to me with questions or if in doubt. We really do it together."

A permanent face as a point of contact

Karlijn is also the point of contact for clients who need one permanent face. She keeps files up-to-date, identifies errors in systems, schedules agendas of specialists, supervises pilots and actively thinks about improvements. Her work shows how much goes on behind the scenes to ensure that every expertise runs smoothly and carefully.

"Sometimes we can't solve everything for a client, and I find that difficult," says Karlijn. "But I always try to listen and clarify where possible. That builds trust, and that's what Sazyes is all about."
